A data file containing a list of items has been created. The item types include:

  • Clothing
  • Accessories
  • Weapons
  • Tools
  • Books
  • Money
  • Art
  • Jewellry
  • Food
  • Drink
  • Will
Each item has the following attributes:

  • Size
  • Value
  • Condition
  • Quality
  • Effect when used
  • Clues left when used
  • Written text associated with item
Items are initially generated for each character and business. Items can be carried by a character or left at their residence. Items can also be bought and sold at the relevant business.

Items play a key role in establishing a method for a murder. They also serve as clues. For example, a diary will contain text relevant to the owning character's actual experiences in the simulation.
